Prairie Mobile Communications
FleetNet 800™ is a trunked mobile radio solution for businesses, such as health and protective services with specialized requirements. On a conventional radio system, callers must wait for an opening on a preselected channel. FleetNet 800™ reduces this costly waiting time by directing each call to whichever channel is open. You can make group calls and individual calls, plus, you can access the telephone network.

Calls will automatically reach you wherever you are within the network. When you are placing a call, there's no need to know the location of the person you are calling, FleetNet 800 will access the individual or group automatically.

A decision has been made to phase out the FleetNet 800™ network because the network is aging and SaskTel is not in a position to guarantee it will work reliably in its current state and into the future. Notwithstanding this fact, the Minister Responsible for SaskTel has stated that SaskTel will not leave emergency service providers without reliable emergency communications services.

SaskTel is committed to doing its best to support the existing FleetNet 800 service until a viable solution is in place.

We are still providing the FleetNet 800 service, and new units can still be added. SaskTel will continue to support the current FleetNet 800™ network but will not be upgrading the service. You can either purchase or rent your FleetNet 800 radios from Prairie Mobile communications by calling:
